Trainers, Facilitators, Consultants, and Organizational Development professionals who want to make a profound and impactful difference in the lives of the individuals and the organizations they serve. This course will help individuals who are already qualified to administer the MBTI® instrument to expand their tool kit to include multiple starting points and integrated applications. It is also appropriate for other change agents who want to learn this powerful methodology, whether they are MBTI qualified or not. These professionals recognize the benefit of having achieved a level of competence, which is acknowledged through a formal certification process.
- Identify and clarify your own best-fit temperament pattern, natural Interaction Style, and personality type.
- Learn a model to help people clarify their types.
- Learn the fine points of the temperament model and how it relates to psychological type.
- Learn the fine points of the Interaction Style model and how it relates to psychological type and Social Styles.
- Learn the fine points of the Cognitive Dynamics model and potential coaching and development applications.
- See when to use each model and how to integrate all the models with your work with type.
- Learn clues to identifying the temperaments, Interaction Styles, and full type of others.
- Have the opportunity to practice delivering The Self-Discovery Process® in one-on-one settings and in group settings
- Learn tools to help people develop more effective communication strategies.
- Learn tools to help people identify their leadership strengths and blind spots.
- Learn tools to help people work together better in teams.
Included in the course is the complete Facilitator’s Guide to Facilitating The Self-Discovery Process® which includes a CD with animated PowerPoint files, PowerPoint files for handouts, and other tools to use.
Prior to attending you will be sent a pre-work packet to help you fully prepare for your workshop. The goal of the pre-work is to get you exposed to the some information beforehand, so once you attend you have a foundation we can build upon. The pre-work typically takes 20 - 40 hours to complete, so please allow for the time in your schedule. We have found that successfully completing the pre-work often leads to succesfully passing the MBTI exam given on day 2 of the workshop.

- MTBI® Manual: A Guide to the Development and Use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator by Isabel Briggs Myers, Mary H. McCaulley, Naomi L. Quenk, and Allend L. Hammer
- preparatory DVD with Linda Berens and the Interstrength Associates Senior Faculty
During your workshop you will also receive the following materials:

- The 16 Personality Types: Descriptions for Self-Discovery by Linda V. Berens & Dario Nardi
