Interstrength Associates is partnered with the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) in Australia, CareerLifeSkills Resources in Canada, and the Centre for Ledelse in Denmark to bring the Interstrength Certification Training to our clients abroard.

In these courses you will experience and learn how to use the Interstrength® assessments and method in a variety of lengths and formats. You will learn about temperament theory, Interaction Styles, and Cognitive Dynamics in depth so you can apply any of the three models of The Self-Discovery Process® on their own or in an integrated way with applications to teams, leadership, and development. You will gain great self-awareness as well as how to help others identify and clarify their best-fit personality type.

Target Audience:
Trainers, Facilitators, Consultants, and Organizational Development professionals who want to make a profound and impactful difference in the lives of the individuals and the organizations they serve. This course would help individuals who are already qualified to administer the MBTI® instrument to expand their tool kit to include multiple starting points and integrated applications. It is also appropriate for other change agents who want to learn this powerful methodology, whether they are MBTI qualified or not. These professionals recognize the benefit of having achieved a level of competence, which is acknowledged through a formal certification process.

In this workshop you will . . .

  • Identify and clarify your own best-fit temperament pattern, natural Interaction Style, and personality type.
  • Learn a model to help people clarify their types.
  • Learn the fine points of the temperament model and how it relates to psychological type.
  • Learn the fine points of the Interaction Style model and how it relates to psychological type and Social Styles.
  • Learn the fine points of the Cognitive Dynamics model and potential coaching and development applications.
  • See when to use each model and how to integrate all the models with your work with type.
  • Learn clues to identifying the temperaments, Interaction Styles, and full type of others.
  • Have the opportunity to practice delivering The Self-Discovery Process® in one-on-one settings and in group settings
  • Learn tools to help people develop more effective communication strategies.
  • Learn tools to help people identify their leadership strengths and blind spots.
  • Learn tools to help people work together better in teams.

During this course you will receive the complete Facilitator’s Guide to Facilitating The Self-Discovery Process® which includes a CD with animated PowerPoint files, reproducible worksheets, and other tools to use.

You will be given pre-study and be required to complete a competency assessment in order to become certified.
