Overview
Ever wonder why you can’t seem to connect with someone or why team meetings can be so frustrating? Almost every day we wonder why there are certain people we just can’t seem to get through to. Miscommunications diminish moral, undermine teams and cost organizations time and money. In this course participants explore their strengths and weaknesses in communicating with and influencing others. Different approaches such as how we are driven to accomplish results, how we create buy-in for our ideas, and how our natural beliefs systems drive our style of interacting with others provide participants with a system for recognizing different styles and adapting their communication.
During this Workshop participants will learn to:
Identify their own preferred style and how to maximize communication effectiveness
Use their natural talents to get better results and create buy-in for their ideas
Recognize the styles of others and use differences to create stronger teams and better collaboration
Recognize sources of miscommunication and reduce conflict to a minimum
Build strong, “conflict-resistant” relationships with co-workers of all types and styles
Shift perspectives and learn to communicate in all 4 Interaction Styles
