About Us
Interstrength® Associates
Interstrength® Associates, formerly Temperament Research Institute (TRI), is a training and consulting company dedicated to serving individuals and organizations seeking to improve their overall functioning through more accurate self-knowledge, knowledge of others, effective communication and team work.

We are an alliance of professionals who believe in the essential value of personality diversity. We seek to establish a common language for improving communication and growth within organizations and the community. We achieve this through teaching a systems approach for understanding personality differences.

We seek to develop long term relationships with those who want to effectively use the understanding of personality to effect sustainable change. Through these relationships, our curriculum and published resources, individuals and organizations can ensure the results they want.

Our goal is to maximize the contributions of each individual by giving them skills that are tranferable to all levels of the organization.

At Interstrength® Associates, we believe that valuing human diversity brings success to organizations. When people are valued for their talents and perspectives, they have a greater sense of personal commitment to their work, which translates into greater employee retention and higher productivity. When people understand their differences, conflicts are more easily managed, differing perspectives are respected, and needless waste is avoided. Projects that take varied perspectives into account are infinitely more successful. Utilizing individual differences results in more innovative products and solutions as well as higher quality, minimal errors, and greater effectiveness.

How we are different
We recognize that people are unique, complex, and agile. Our focus is to provide organizations with a cost-effective approach to use personality differences information as a foundation and common thread for their corporate initiatives and trainings. When you introduce personality differences information to individuals within the organizations they function in, you have the power to do harm or do tremendous good. Unlike many uses of personality typologies that use a "test and tell" approach and then label and stereotype, our methodology provides a way of viewing the individual as evolving and growing.

We train professionals and work with individuals in corporations to give them tools to create a safe environment for personal involvement in the process. It is this personal involvement that gives "sticking power" to our methodology.
